In a dangerous world, the need for Hudson Institute’s work is especially clear. Policy leaders require accurate and timely analyses and recommendations on the key threats to the United States and its allies.
This year, Hudson Institute grew dramatically in strength and influence. The Institute’s team of experts produced powerful work on aiding Ukraine; deterring Communist China; supporting Israel against barbaric terrorist enemies; forging closer US ties with Japan, Taiwan, and other key Asian allies and partners; promoting US energy security; and deploying new defense concepts and technology to strengthen American hard power.
Hudson analysis inspires and guides action. From congressional testimony and briefings to commentary in major media, we target key policymakers with the information they need to safeguard America’s future. Facing rising isolationism, Hudson worked to ensure leaders in Washington recognize that when American power recedes, our adversaries fill the void.
It was also a year of milestones for the Institute. We were proud to present Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen with our Global Leadership Award for her courageous leadership. We honored Charles Schwab with our Herman Kahn Award for his visionary business leadership and contributions to American prosperity. We also inaugurated the Walter P. Stern Policy Conference, an annual gathering in Washington of policy leaders and key Hudson supporters, named after Hudson’s late chair emeritus.
