Join Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Nury Turkel and Bethany Allen-Ebrahimian of Axios for a moderated discussion with Reinhard Butikofer and Raphael Glucksmann, two MEPs who have been at the forefront of the fight to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s genocide of the Uyghur people, who will speak about their experience living under Chinese “sanctions” and their continued advocacy on behalf of the Uyghurs.

Early this year, the U.S., Canada, EU, and United Kingdom announced the imposition of coordinated sanctions on two Chinese officials who orchestrated the Uyghur genocide. In retaliation, China sanctioned several lawmakers who have called for an end to the campaign against the Uyghur people, in a clear effort to dissuade political leaders from taking a strong stance on Chinese human rights violations. What impact have these efforts had on efforts to hold the CCP accountable for these crimes? Please join Hudson Institute for this important discussion.

The Future of US and Allied Hypersonic Missile Programs

Join Hudson for a workshop with congressional, government, and industry officials to discuss the future of the American hypersonic missile program. The Space Foundation’s Major General Heather Pringle, United States Air Force (ret.), will introduce a keynote address from Congressman Doug Lamborn (R-CO). Then expert panels will discuss the future of hypersonic missile offense and defense and how members of Congress can build a bipartisan consensus about the vital US hypersonic missile program.
