The onset of 5G wireless technology will transform how we use the Internet and interact with other technologies, from the smart grid and AI to driverless cars.

The United States and China are engaged in a global struggle for 5G supremacy. The Chinese telecom equipment giant Huawei continues to expand its global reach; however, the United States has been warning allies to the serious national security threats Huawei poses and convincing them to join its ban on Huawei contracts and equipment.

Hudson Institute Senior Fellow and Director of the Quantum Alliance Initiative Arthur Herman and Declan Ganley, CEO of Rivada Networks and outspoken advocate for U.S.-led 5G technology, will discuss how the United States can regain momentum and emerge as the leader in the technology the U.S. pioneered and whose companies still dominate the key technologies.

Hudson Institute is grateful for the support its received from Rivada Networks.
