Hudson Institute Board of Trustees Elects Marie-Josée Kravis and Sarah May Stern as Vice Chairs

WASHINGTON -- Following a vote by the Hudson Institute Board, Trustees Marie-Josée Kravis and Sarah May Stern have been elected to serve as Vice Chairs.

"We at Hudson Institute are very grateful to Sarah Stern and Marie-Josee Kravis for their exceptional service," said President and CEO Kenneth R. Weinstein. "We are proud to have their leadership as Vice Chairs as we continue celebrating our fiftieth anniversary year."

 

Marie-Josée Kravis, also a Hudson Institute Senior Fellow, is a well-known economist specializing in public policy analysis and strategic planning. Kravis serves as President of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She has been associated with the Institute since 1973, having directed Hudson's "Corporate Environment Program," and has worked on studies of the economic development of countries such as Algeria, Morocco, France, and Mexico.

 

Sarah May Stern is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School. During her long career, she has worked as Special Projects Manager for Newsweek and as Business Director for Commentary magazine.

 

Chairman Allan R. Tessler paid tribute to the incoming Vice Chairs, saying, "We look forward to the many valuable contributions that Sarah and Marie-Josee will bring to the life of the Institute."
