The Hudson Institute Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to promote Kenneth R. Weinstein, Ph.D. to Chief Executive Officer. Weinstein, 43, an eight-year Institute veteran, has written widely on policy issues in both the U.S. and French press. Weinstein previously served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hudson Institute.
Hudson Institute Board Chairman Walter P. Stern lauded Weinsteins work in refocusing the institutes research on foreign policy and international relations, bringing on board renowned scholars, and relocating the institute to a more spacious facility.
In addition, the Trustees promoted Deborah L. Hoopes, a seventeen-year Institute veteran, to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Stern praised Hoopes as a dedicated leader whose counsel has served Hudson well.
