**Please be advised: This event will premiere LIVE on this page at 12:00 p.m. EDT, Friday, October 30.**

Join Hudson Institute for a conversation with Rep. Jim Banks and Rep. Seth Moulton on the recently released results from the Congressional Future of Defense Task Force's year-long study of the U.S. military and state of US national security. The discussion will be moderated by Senior Fellow, Bryan Clark, with additional perspectives from Adjunct Fellow, Dan Patt.

Among its recommendations, the Task Force proposed the U.S. government mount a renewed effort to affordably incorporate new technologies into American military forces, mature emerging operational concepts, strengthen defense equipment supply chains, improve cybersecurity, and advance U.S. alliances and partnerships. As the nation enters a period of fiscal and security uncertainty, the Task Force’s findings and recommendations are more important than ever and should inform decisions of the next administration–regardless of who wins the upcoming presidential election.

Please join the Director of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Defense Concepts and Technology Bryan Clark as he discusses findings and recommendations from the Congressional Future of Defense Task Force with Task Force chairs Congressmen Jim Banks of Indiana, Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, and Adjunct Fellow Dan Patt.
