Senior Fellow and Director, Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East

Hudson Institute will host U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas for a discussion with Hudson Senior Fellow Mike Doran on American foreign policy and the senator’s approach to national security at a time when conservative foreign policy debate is divided between interventionist and isolationist policy options. They will discuss, among other things, the stand-off with Iran against the backdrop of the annual opening of the United Nations General Assembly, Israel's role in a U.S. Middle East strategy, and approaches to problematic allies in the region and beyond.

Sen. Cruz currently serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and previously served on the Senate Armed Services Committee from 2013-2019.
