On November 16, Hudson Institute convened a panel to discuss mounting tensions in U.S.-China relations and the impact on the Indo-Pacific region. Specifically, panelists considered the strategic implications of these tensions in the South China Sea for the U.S., Japan, and India.

Panelists included Bryan McGrath, deputy director of the Center for American Seapower at Hudson Institute; AdmiralYoji Koda (Ret.), the former Vice Admiral of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and former Director-General of the Operations and Plans Department in the Maritime Staff Office in Tokyo, Japan; Aparna Pande, Research Fellow & Director of Hudson Institute’s Initiative on the Future of India and South Asia; and Satoru Nagao, a Visiting Fellow at Hudson Institute. The discussion will be moderated by Hudson Senior Fellow Arthur Herman.
