Speakers:
Hudson Institute's James H. Doolittle Prize is named in honor of "Jimmy" Doolittle, the intrepid aviator who led the daring April 1942 raid on Tokyo in the aftermath of the Pearl Harbor attack. On June 20, 2011, Hudson conferred the annual Doolittle Prize on Senator Joseph I. Lieberman (I-CT)--in recognition of his courageous leadership and distinguished record of accomplishment during a long career devoted to ensuring the safety and security of the United States. The 2011 Doolittle Prize dinner also paid tribute to Hudson Chairman Emeritus Walter P. Stern for his remarkable service to the Institute. Stern's support and leadership over more than three decades has helped Hudson earn a worldwide reputation for innovation in public policy analysis.
