On October 3, Hudson Institute hosted a discussion to examine the current state of Syria and risks of new regional conflict. Syria remains a geopolitical hotspot with the U.S., Israel, Turkey, Russia, and Iran directing military forces deployed in the country. The panel will consider the potential for conflict between proxy powers, the continued use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime, and the country’s prospects for peace and stability.
