Trent Hone

Trent Hone, an authority on the early twentieth-century Navy and a leader in applying complexity science to organizational design, is a recipient of the US Naval War College’s Edward S. Miller Prize and the Naval History and Heritage Command’s Ernest M. Eller Prize. He is the co-author of Battle Line: The United States Navy, 1919-1939 and author of Learning War: The Evolution of Fighting Doctrine in the U.S. Navy, 1898–1945 and Mastering the Art of Command: Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and Victory in the Pacific.
