While much of the world seeks both decarbonization and energy security, new challenges are emerging. Rising dependence on manufacturing and critical minerals from China and oil, gas, and enriched uranium from Russia creates severe risks for America and its allies. But Canada and the United States have a unique opportunity: they can become energy independent and help Asian and European allies attain energy security.

Join Hudson and the Macdonald-Laurier Institute for a daylong conference with energy and security experts, industry representatives, and policymakers. The forum will discuss how Washington and Ottawa can work together to leverage emerging technologies and North America’s abundant energy resources to build energy security and limit authoritarian states’ influence in global energy markets.

Registration is required to attend.
